Residents
of the entire City of Trenton and surrounding communities are eligible
to receive services at Henry J. Austin Health Center, Inc, a federally
qualified health center. In order to receive funding from the U.S.
Department of Health and Human Services/Public Health Services,
the health status of residents of this community has been identified
with elevated rates for high blood pressure, diabetes, high risk
pregnancies, cardiovascular and other chronic diseases.
Throughout the year, this section will feature articles, reference
material and notifications of special activities designed to educate
the community about ways to improve their health status, the announcement
of new programs at the Henry J. Austin Health Center, or the availability
of new services to meet the needs of our patients.
