It is with great pleasure that I announce the appointment of Mr. George C. Stokes as Chief Executive Officer of the Henry J Austin Health Center, Inc. effective October 3, 2011. Mr. Stokes brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the job. He has held previous executive level positions in health care delivery in both the hospital and community health center based settings. He has a Bachelor’s degree from Wilberforce University and a Master’s degree from Boston College.
We are very excited about him joining our team and look forward to the opportunities which lie ahead to move Henry J Austin from a good center to a great center. Please join me in welcoming him as a member of our team.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Kemi Alli for serving as interim CEO during this transitional period. Dr. Alli has served admirably and continues to demonstrate her commitment to our mission through her dedication and hard work.
In closing I would like to thank all members of the Henry J. Austin team who continue to work hard and are committed to our mission to provide quality primary care services to the communities and families we serve.
