Henry J. Austin Health Center is pleased to welcome the following
new physicians to its practice.
Abigal L. Rose, M.D., M.P.H., is a graduate of MCP Hahnemann University
School of Medicine (now Drexel University College of Medicine) where
she was awarded the Mark A. Blatt Memorial Prize for excellence
in Family Medicine, deemed Medical Humanities Scholar and attained
merit scholarship for academic achievement. Dr. Rose also received
an M.P.H. from Harvard University School of Public Health. She served
as intern and resident at Lawrence Family Medicine in Lawrence,
MA and was elected chief resident by her peers. She is board certified
in Family Practice, authored numerous published articles and is
fluent in Spanish and French. Dr. Rose will maintain her practice
at the Warren Street site.
Rajaa Zayound, M.D. is a graduate of Damascus University Medical
School, Syria, where she continued her postgraduate studies in Pediatrics.
She served her family practice residency at Southside Hospital,
affiliated with SUNY at Stony Brook School of Medicine, Department
of Family Practice on Long Island. Dr. Zayoud is board certified
in Family Practice and fluent in Arabic and medical Spanish. Dr.
Zayoud will be treating her patients at the Ewing Street Health
Center.
Kim Florence, M.D., is a graduate of Brown University School of
Medicine and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Morris Brown College
in Atlanta, Georgia. She served her residence in Obstetrics and
Gynecology at Albert Einstein Medical Center and at The Brooklyn
Hospital Center. She is board eligible in OB/GYN.
Henry J. Austin is the largest ambulatory care center in Trenton,
providing comprehensive primary care and dental services at three
city locations and one Hamilton Township site.
